18 weeks and counting...

I am now in my 18th week of being pregnant! I have yet to gain any weight, I have just lost some. I have NO signs of pregnancy, other that my expanding belly and the fact that I have seen the little person in there.

I kind of thought I felt the baby last night, but I am not sure... It was like I had a twitch, but again I am skeptical!

We have seen the parts, ad it is a boy! A miracle for my family, but expected for Dwight's!

I need to upload pictures from New York, and of the baby! But I am on a deadline!!

I started my own Farmer's Insurance agency and need to seel so many policies by 11/17, which I will get done! One way or another!

Life is good! No other news to share.

New Beginnings!

Does anyone else LOVE Cating Crowns?
They have a song that one of the lyrics is .."the God who gives and takes away."
When God takes away, it is hard.
In that last year, I have had to make choices to let God take away.
Believe me, God was just making room for things FAR more fabulous! However, at the time(s)
it was hard. Friends I had known 15 years, a marriage, a job... All of it that I had worked on for so long and so hard, gone.
All I can say, for anyone going through something like this, when you come out of it, God is good. He knows what is best for you and his will WILL be done no matter how much we resist it.
God continues to bless me daily and I have no doubt the next few years are going to be a LOT of work with a new family and new business, but I have faith and joy as my armor and strength.

March 09

March was such a busy month!

Dwight and I got married on the 14th! The wedding was in Granbury and turned out perfectly!

This picture is my new family! Dwight, Logan and Me!

All of our families made it and we really enjoyed seeing everyone!

After that we went on a cruise to the Bahama's and it was perfect! Even our steward from the GIRLS CRUISE was still on the boat! We went to a different destination, but the same boat!
I will have to post more pictures later!

WIMS Letter

I stole this from Rachel, but got it on Facebook too! I am just LAZY!

Get the word out...
I received this letter today from the Facebook group "Praying for Brad Wims"...Dear Family and Friends,Brad Wims courageously fought the battle against the cancer that caused such pain and damage in his body for over two years. Each day was a victory and a blessing of grace for we are never promised tomorrow. Even as the doctors’ prognosis was grim, Brad persevered with God as his strength. He was an incredible example of faithfulness and trust in God even in the most trying of circumstances. Many people have expressed a desire to help ease the situation for Jenny, Zeke and Kaelyn. We find ourselves asking, “What more can I do in addition to prayer?”Although many would think that Brad’s primary burden was his physical health, those that know him well say that more than anything else, his main concern centered on his wife and children. Brad felt responsible for the provision of their financial, spiritual and emotional needs. Since Brad faced an uncertain future, the financial strain weighed heavy on his mind. Because of this, we have decided to set up a fund to collect donations from anyone who would like to make sure his family is taken care of regardless of their situation. Our goal is to raise $120,000 to be used toward this effort. This would allow Jenny to pay off the mortgage of their house and provide much needed income during this difficult time. The elders of the A&M Church of Christ in College Station and the Southeast Church of Christ in Friendswood (Brad and Jenny’s home church) are graciously providing direction, encouragement and the necessary arrangements to make the collection for these funds convenient. Because of the blessings God showers down upon all of us, we believe this is an attainable goal. We invite you to reflect on the abundant blessings you have received from God and join others in the grace of giving to this much needed cause. There are two ways to donate:1. Send a check to either of the churches listed below. Please write “Wims Family” on the memo line to designate your funds and help with bookkeeping. A&M Church of Christ2475 Earl Rudder Frwy. Please pray for their family as Brad passed away yesterday! I can not fathom what it must feel like, but I have comfort in knowing Brad will never suffer again and that he has been healed!

Praise our faithful God for healing Brad!

Please pray for Jenny and the kids as they transition and that she can continue the faith that she has praise God in this storm!

The Bachelor Season NEVER AGAIN

I had read on Kimmy's blog what was supposed to happen. I quietly hoped it was just a cruel joke. I couldn't live with it alone, so I told Kaye and we both were SURE it was wrong!

Well, we weren't! After what Deanna supposedly learned from Brad and Jason supposedly learned from Deanna, I was SURE he was smarter and a better candidate for it. At first I truly thought he was really genuine.

After last night, I think he is a cold person. NO one deserves what he did to Melissa and I can not believe he did it.

I am swearing off the Bachelor! I no longer believe it is not "made up" and have no desire to watch it.

Regarding Molly, I think he made her look ridiculous too. He was like I know I dumped you but I want you back. I have a feeling from the girls reactions they knew more than was shown...
Why would any woman say OK, you dumped me and said to me that you were in love with someone else, but yes I want to try it again.....

Anyway, GOODBYE BACHELOR!

Happy Valentine's Day 2009
Logan, Emily, Kayce, Lynnsey, Kody, Kenadie and Makenzie!

Thursday, January 29, 2009

My grandaddy is 79 years old today! He was born 1/29/1930! How different the world was then! God truely blessed me in allowing me to have him as my GRANDdaddy! I think that our GRANDparents are called that for a reason! Mine raised their 3 kids and my sisters and me! Over 55 years of raising kids!!! I don't know how two people can do it, unless it is with God's love, and helping hands. I know exactly why God chose them for me and I am eternally greatful!
I love you Buddy and I hope to have many many more years with us on earth and I will have you for a lifetime in my heart! Happy Birthday!

Dwight and Logan

So I am so bad at blogging that I am going to completely start over!
I am so excited for 2009!
So here is a little about me and my life!
I am getting married in March to Dwight. He such a good person and I am SO excited to have him and his son Logan in my life! Logan is 7. He thinks is going to marry my niece, Lynnsey. This is probably because Lynnsey probably told him he was going to! It starts young!

I will post some random pictures so you can tell who is who! And I will take more pictures so I can post them!
